Magnetic settlement meter

The magnets follow the vertical displacements of the soil – displacements that can be recorded with the instrument. One major advantage of the system is that it is very easy to use and that the results of the measurements are given directly in the field.

 

Other advantages:

• Reliable, exact, simple to install and measure
• Extra measurement points along the pipe give little added cost but considerable added value.
• Ideal for the monitoring of settlement and heaving in connection with backfill and excavation.
