Extensometer for Swellex bolts

This instrument is a combination of an anchor and a measuring instrument in which the instrument has been built into the Atlas Copco anchoring system Swellex. Some of the advantages offered by the system are as follows:

• Measurement is carried out in the same borehole as the reinforcement
• The installation is simple and quick
• The equipment does not need to be grouted in place
• Readings can be taken immediately after installation
• The instrument/bolt can be installed in a standard borehole with a diameter of 32-52 mm.
• The instrument can be read off mechanically and automatically.

 

In the case of fully-automatic measuring, measurement data can be collected automatically by our data loggers and presented online on the Internet in our web system, where alarms are received and access is given to measurement values that are presented in a clear and effective way.
